NUTTY SCIENTISTS is currently expanding our team of fun, energetic and enthusiastic instructors for programs throughout Southeast Michigan.

  • Position Title: After School Program Instructor
  • Pay: $20.00 per hour & paid training
  • Location: Ann Arbor, MI and/or Birmingham, MI
  • Job Type: Part-Time
  • Expected Hours: 3-10 per week (at least 2 days per week) 
  • Available Shifts: Weekdays between 3/3:30pm and 5/5:30pm

If you have experience working with children, love science (no formal science training required), enjoy entertaining and educating kids, and aren’t afraid to get a little “nutty”, you now have a chance to work in an exciting and fulfilling environment. Have fun while helping children get excited about science!

Required qualifications:

  • Ability to pass a background check and be fingerprinted through the state
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Availability of at least 2 days/ week in after school programs

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience working with children
  • Classroom management experience
  • Love of science
  • First Aid/CPR certification is a plus!
