Our Science Shows are perfectly suited for schools! They are great for up to 200 kids, geared to ages 5-12, are interactive and exciting. Each show features an imaginative storyline and is packed with 6-8 hands-on experiments that children can participate in. We frequently offer schools back-to-back shows if they have more than 200 kids, and offer competitive pricing to suit your budgets.
Ice Age Show
Children will be immersed in a sensory experience with the amazing properties of CO2. Help our Nutty Scientist uncover secrets in the forest of Merlin the Wizard through sublimation, chemical reactions, pressure, forces, and more!
Cast Away Show
Help our Nutty Scientist who is lost on a desert island! Kids will help the lost scientist get food, water and signal for rescue. Along the way they’ll fire rockets, make slime, shoot smoke rings, and see amazing electrical demonstrations with a Van De Graaff generator!
Fun Mission to Space Show
The Nutty Scientist has been entrusted with a maximum-security space mission. What will it take to survive in space? Participate in wild experiments while learning about the planets, gravity, orbits, properties of sound, near-vacuum conditions, atmospheric pressure, comets and volcanic reactions!
About Us?
Nutty Scientists Hudson Valley provides outreach STEAM programing to kids ages 4-12. We focus on providing hands-on experiments that children can participate in. With Nutty Scientists, kids get to touch, jump, yell, vibrate, form and test hypotheses, mix substances and more. Nutty Scientists is a worldwide franchise, with locations in 80 different countries. The Hudson Valley location is owned and run by Peter and Jessica Jacobsen, who live with their two young girls in Rhinebeck NY. Prior to owning the business, Peter had 15 years experience as a director of education of several children’s museums.
