Nutty Scientists Hudson Valley is delighted to extend a hand to libraries in Dutchess, Ulster and Columbia counties to help them build upon their significant efforts to educate our children.  We offer the opportunity to bring STEAM programing right into your library and can cusomtize it to fit your needs.

Our library STEAM programs are theatrical and fun, while offering hands-on activities to encourage active participation in children.  Our curriculum is best suited for ages 4 to 12 years old and can be adapted to suit your audience.

We offer libraries two STEAM programing opportunities – science shows and workshops.

1. THE ICE AGE SHOW : The kids will help our scientist overcome incredible challenges within the secret forest of Merlin the Wizard by performing amazing experiments. They will learn about the amazing properties of CO2 and dry ice getting to know about sublimation, chemical reactions, pressure, density, weight and osmosis.
2. CAST AWAY:  In this fun show, the Nutty Scientist gets lost on a desert island and the children will have to help him escape using science! Kids will learn about chemical reactions, changes in matter, the Newton’s Laws of Motion, electricity and much more, thanks to their participation in incredible experiments and amazing stories!
3. MISSION TO SPACE: After being entrusted with a maximum security space mission, the Nutty Scientist will plan a mission to space using sophisticated techniques and crazy experiments.  Kids will learn about the mysteries of space and planets in a fun way through their amazing adventures.
