Combining fun with learning, Nutty Scientists’ Camps are an innovative form of “edutainment” (entertainment + education). Each workshop contains an educational theme that keeps children engaged all day, every day.
Protecting our planet starts with us. We have fun experiments lined up for kids that will help us reinforce this message.
- Students will learn about nonrenewable energy sources. Students will be exposed to energy and fuels that humans use are derived from natural sources, and their use affects the environment in multiple ways.
- Have you ever heard the term, “Greenhouse Effect?” We will learn how humans may be accelerating climate change and how we individually impact the earth. Understand climate change and calculate your carbon footprint.
- Water is the foundation of life on earth.Understand how Absorbent polymers work in favor of preserving water
Nutty Scientists is a COVIDsafe business and our workshops will run in compliance with the NSW Health COVID19 guidelines at the time of the event.
Please pack a nut-free lunch, morning tea, afternoon tea, hat, sunscreen and bottle of water. There will be supervised outside play during breaks. If your child has any allergies, please let us know in advance.
These workshops are recommended for children aged between 5 to 12 years old. As our workshops are hands-on and interactive, we limit the registrations to 20 children per workshop. The workshops are run/managed by 2-3 professors to ensure each child receives the attention they need.
