Location: Wrights Road Community Centre Activity Room 2, Kellyville
Within the medical sciences, there are different types of doctors. Children will have an overview over some facts about human body.
- Construct a working model of a human hand
- Create your own Blood Lab, understand blood’s composition and why transfusions and donations are so important
- Understand the parts of Respiratory System. Construct a Model of Lung and Diaphragm
Combining fun with learning, Nutty Scientists’ Camps are an innovative form of “edutainment” (entertainment + education). Each workshop contains an educational theme that keeps children engaged all day, every day.
Nutty Scientists is a COVIDsafe business and our workshops will run in compliance with the NSW Health COVID19 guidelines at the time of the event.
Cost
- $65 for Workshops only, 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. Kids will get to participate in workshop 1, 2 and 3.
- $85 for a full day,9 am to 5 pm. Kids will get to participate in workshop 1, 2 and 3. In addition, we will have board games, science toys and gadgets, and art activities before and after the workshops.
Please pack a nut-free lunch, morning tea, afternoon tea, hat, sunscreen and bottle of water. There will be supervised outside play during breaks. If your child has any allergies, please let us know in advance.
These workshops are recommended for children aged between 5 to 12 years old. As our workshops are hands-on and interactive, we limit the registrations to 20 children per workshop. The workshops are run/managed by 2-3 professors to ensure each child receives the attention they need.
