Want your child to enjoy a full day of fun?

Ember & Root is partnering with Nutty Scientists to offer a seamless full-day camp experience right here at our facility.

Nutty Scientists will run an engaging morning camp from 9:00–12:00, and Ember & Root will take it from 12:00–3:30 with our signature afternoon programming.

Full-day campers will enjoy a 12:00–12:30 lunch break supervised by Ember & Root (please send a packed lunch). After lunch, children will transition smoothly into our PM camp for an afternoon of creativity, community, and choice-filled fun.

Ooey Gooey Science

Prepare to be amazed by jaw-dropping chemical reactions and roll up your sleeves for tons of hands-on experiments as you explore the wonders of science.

MAGICAL MATTER CHANGES

Children will identify the solute and solvent in a solution, observe different changes in matter, and demonstrate physical and chemical changes. For that, they will run an amazing experiment that appears to be magic and create their own soap.

PLAYING WITH DENSITY

Children will develop models to demonstrate observable properties of matter such as density, volume, mass, and buoyancy.

Snap • Crackle & Pop into 2026

Ring in the New Year Ember & Root–style with a cozy, sparkly, sound-filled celebration!

This half-day camp is all about the joyful moments of snap, crackle, and pop—from surprising
countdown challenges to playful popping activities and creative, wintery crackle crafts.

Kids can create and decorate time capsules, explore traditions from around the world, and choose from a variety of themed offerings.

Each day includes:

● A TinkerKitchen snack activity (think popping, fizzing, or crackling treats!)
● whole-group games inspired by countdown fun
● A selection of themed offerings kids may choose from
● Open choice time to play, create, and follow their own ideas

All materials are included, and campers enjoy the same warm, clubhouse-style setting Ember &
Root is known for.
