Combining fun with learning, Nutty Scientists’ Camps are an innovative form of “edutainment” (entertainment + education). Each workshop contains an educational theme that keeps children engaged all day, every day.

From saving our biggest natural resource to learning about our little worm friends that make our land fertile,  we will be teaching kids about environmental  sustainability and its importance in maintaining healthy life on this planet.

  • Learn about the wonderful world of earthworms, the role they play in the environment, their bodies, and the food they like to eat. How do worms help crops and improve fertility? Make observations of plants and animals to compare the diversity of life in different habitats. Take home your worm friends and let them loose in your garden.
  • Students will explore and portray the prehistoric eras that dinosaurs existed in. They will get familiarised with the occupations related to the study of dinosaurs and have a hands-on experience in archaeology. They will explore the process of fossilising and create their own fossil.
  • Understand why it is important to save our planet’s most-precious resource – water. Importance of water on earth and its impact on environment. Learn about special polymers that are helping conserve water. Learn about the concept of refraction and osmosis. Take home your own plant in a soil mixture consisting of special water-storing crystals.

Nutty Scientists is a COVIDsafe business and our workshops will run in compliance with the NSW Health COVID19 guidelines at the time of the event.

Bookings before June 4 can take advantage of early bird discount.

These workshops are recommended for children aged between 5 to 12 years old. As our workshops are hands-on and interactive, we limit the registrations to 20 children per workshop. The workshops are run/managed by 2-3 professors to ensure each child receives the attention they need.
